Mr. Dore is an Underwriting and Marketing executive with over thirty years of managerial experience in the insurance industry. Joe has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii and most recently was a Branch Manager with the Insurance Company of the West where he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s production and loss ratio metrics. Prior to that he was an Assistant Vice President for the Zenith Insurance Company with leadership responsibilities in the Los Angeles Region. As the Home Office Product Manager for Republic Indemnity, he developed marketing strategies and oversaw their product development. Joe is a dedicated and detail-oriented executive with a proven track record of ensuring successful long-term company objectives.

Mike Lanza has been in the healthcare claims operations for nearly 30 years. Mike started his insurance career at Travelers in their management trainee program. He later worked in the self-insured National Accounts division for Aetna and United Healthcare respectively. In addition to managing Claims, he also oversaw the call center operations. Mike improved efficiencies, increased cost containment savings and elevated customer service standards. He became familiar with medical stop loss when he joined Tokio Marine HCC. While at HCC, Mike focused on integrating claims operation from acquired companies, as well as expanded quality assurance programs, and claims savings via cost containment / negotiation strategies. Mike graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Mr. Barden has over 30 years of group underwriting experience. Prior to joining USBenefits, Tim was a Regional Underwriting Manager with TRU Services, LLC. Previously he was Director of Underwriting for USBenefits Insurance Services, LLC and recently transitioned to Vice President. Tim brings strong technical skills along with a realistic sense of market conditions and stop loss issues to our valued clients.
